Following your consultation, you may need certain tests (such as blood tests, X-rays, CT/PET/MRI scans) to help me guide treatment. The fees for these tests will be determined by the private clinic and charged to you, or your private medical insurer, separately.

My fees are for personal professional services and do not include the cost of drugs, tests, nursing care, etc. These are usually settled between your funder (usually your insurance company or yourself) and the hospital.

If you have private medical insurance, please contact your insurer before your consultation, to check the terms of your policy, particularly the level and type of outpatient cover you have, including any reimbursement limits on individual consultation fees. Please note you are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurer.

It is important to keep your insurance company informed about planned treatments, scans or procedures. If you are concerned about the level of private medical cover, please discuss this with your insurance company beforehand.

I will be able to provide a consultation or second opinion to self-paying patients.
